zondle is launching a crowd-funding campaign!
Dear zondle friend,

We are writing with some exciting news!

In 10 days’ time (May 9), zondle is launching a crowd-funding campaign, to enable us to develop zondle content especially for our rapidly-growing community of users in the US: zondle Common Core.

Why is this worth supporting?
  1. We’ll use every dollar raised to pay expert teachers to create Common Core questions for students to play in zondle games!
  2. We’ll donate for FREE a zondle Common Core pack (approximately 1,000 questions) to anyone who has pledged $25 (more if you pledge more and lots of other goodies)!
  3. We’ll donate for FREE the complete set of zondle Common Core packs to 20 of the most disadvantaged school districts across the US!
I’m interested. What should I do now?
  • Our campaign begins on May 6th on Indiegogo. As soon as it’s possible to make a pledge, we’ll let you know.
  • Click here to read all about the campaign.
  • Please forward this email to anyone who you think might be interested in helping.
Thanks as ever for your fantastic support!

Ben, Doug and Wayne

New basic quiz games released with support for all question types.

From time to time we have been asked if we have a basic quiz which supports all the different question types and believe it or not the answer was actually no.  This was just because the basic quiz games were developed as early stage feasibility studies.  However, they have proved very popular and so today we address this issue with the release of three styles of basic quiz that work in the same way, but vary a little in look and feel.

These are the game icons:

The following video shows how these work.  We look forward to any feedback!

New feature: Change the zollars for a whole class of students at once

Today we are pleased to release a new feature that we get asked for quite a lot.  This is the ability to change the zollars for a whole class of students at the same time.

Typically this might be useful for resetting the zollars for students so that if there are some students who are a very long way ahead of others it evens the playing field again.

You can also use this to handicap the better performing students much like in a game of golf by allocating all students the same amount of zollars and then individually setting the zollars for the stronger students lower than this amount and the weaker students higher than this amount.

The following video explains how you use this new feature.  We look forward to any feedback and thank you for your support :)
